Pleasure bay and castle island

Pleasure bay and castle island are located on the east side of South Boston. It has a circular walking trip around the bay (which is bridged by a causeway).

What to do there

  • Walk the circular trail around the bay
  • Watch ships from the dock east of Fort independence
  • Have fun on the playground next to Fort independence
  • Bath in the beach
