Newport, Mansions in Rhode Island

Newport is a city located on a big island just off the coast of Rhode Island. It is 2 hour drive from Boston and about 0.5 hour drive from Providence. The city is famous for its huge mansions, built by rich and famous Newyorkers of the 19th century . They used to escape the summer hit of Manhattan and come over to Newport.
