Providence, Capital of Rhode Island

The capital of Rhode Island. Major areas has been renovated in recent years. The home of the Brown University.

Things to do there:
  • Rhode island state house: the huge state house is located close to the city center. climbing on its stairs, and hanging in the park below it. map
  • Children museum: a small but cosy children museum that can save a rainy day. Allow at least 2-3 hours inside. Our kids love the dragon on the roof. map
  • Brown university campus: A beautiful ive league campus set inside 19th century neighborhood. Visit also Thyer street for small shops and restaurants. map
  • Little Italy: Atwells avenue holds many good 'hardcore' Italian restunts. map
